Capital D
Who God Bless no man curse, Capital D one more verse. Everyday it a get worse, so God have to come first”---  Capital D

Caliente, Caliente, Caliente!!!! Born Miguel Arce Jr, in New York, Puerto Rican reggae artist, Capital D is definitely "Red" hot--as his tag line "Caliente" suggests. When he hits the stage, Capital D captivates audiences with his ability to perform reggae in both Spanish and English.

Capital D's passionate love affair with music ignited as a child. It was during his early years that he often enjoyed watching his mother sing at church. As a teenager, his interest lied with hip hop music. However, during these times reggae artists Shabba Ranks and Super Cat started to cross over in the hip hop world. This led to Capital's love of reggae music. Some of the Reggae artists who influence Capital D include Luciano and Sizzla.

In the early 90's, Capital D performed his first show. Since then he has had the awesome privilege of opening for many reggae industry legends such as Luciano, Sanchez, Warrior King, Capleton and Bounty Killa. He performed at STING (The Greatest one night Reggae dancehall show), Rebel Salute, Fully Loaded and numerous local shows in Connecticut.

Currently, Capital D is working with popular Jamaican saxophonist and producer Dean Fraser, who has produced several tracks on Capital's upcoming album. This album will include collaborations with Anthony B., Luciano and Junior Kelly. It will also feature the following talented musicians: Sly Dunbar, Dwight Pinkney, Fire House Crew, Glen Brownie and Christopher Birch.
